My Resume

I was born in 1993. I got a diploma in mathematics and physics in high school and went to university to study industrial engineering. I graduated after four years. I managed to be among the top 10% of students in the program. In my master’s degree, I continued industrial engineering with a focus on engineering management. After about two years, I graduated with the second rank in the department.

The Master of Industrial Engineering with a focus on “Engineering Management” was an opportunity for me to gain a deeper understanding of the management of organizations by using my engineering background and combining it with management concepts. A holistic understanding of the operational to tactical and then strategic levels in a company as a system and its relationship to other parts of the company strengthened my system thinking skills. My master’s courses in knowledge management, systems engineering, decision theory, computer simulation, human resource management, service operations management, technology and innovation management, and engineering data analysis illustrate the above.

Doing a master’s thesis was also an opportunity to get acquainted with qualitative and quantitative research methods related to management and humanities. This knowledge, along with my previous familiarity with engineering research methods such as mathematical modeling, operations research, and statistical methods that I learned in my undergraduate course, made the vast world of research clearer to me.
